Per Judge Dennis E. Reinaker's order of June 8, 2018 in CI-18-04166 ... The Court finds that the names of all Democratic write-in votes cast on May 15, 2018, for the names spelled differently from the name "Elizabeth Malarkey", as appear on the return made by the County Board of Elections of Lancaster County, and which were highlighted on Petitioner's Hearing Exhibit 1, were intended to be cast for Elizabeth Malarkey, with the exception of the following, which shall not be counted: "E. Malarkey" (2); "Elizabeth Maralakey" (1); "Malarkey" (1); "Marlarkey" (1) and "Maryanne Malarky" (1).
Consequently, as the Court has determined that Elizabeth Malarkey cumulatively has received 302 write-in votes for the position of Democratic Candidate for the position of Representative in the General Assembly for the 99th Legislative District in the Fall General Election for 2018, it is directed that the Board of Elections certify that Elizabeth Malarkey has received the vote total of 302 and shall appear on the ballot for the November General Election.
